Cilegon – PT. Cilegon Fabricators (PTCF) and Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI) have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of Endowment Lecture and Internship Program on November 21st, 2017. This program is one of AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC) endowment lecture program which is powered by the Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) and the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS)
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Head of Investment and Integrated Licensing Board for Jawa Barat Province (Badan Penanaman Modal dan Perizinan Terpadu Provinsi Jawa Barat) , Mr. Dr. Ir. Dadang Mohamad, M.Sc.E. He gave a high appreciation and have a big hope for vocational education and industrial human resources development contributed by this program in near future. In another speech, Mayjen TNI Witjaksono, M.Sc as the Rector of UNJANI said that this endowment lecture and internship program –which is cooperatively presented by PTCF as the one of the biggest boiler manufacturer in Indonesia– is a great opportunity and will be very useful for their 4th grade engineering students to improve their knowledge and experiences for their future carrier.
In the end, this MoU signing agenda was completed and followed-up by a talkshow entitled “Manufacturing and Inspection Technology”. Mr. Shinobu Nakamura as IHI Senior Technical Advisor of Energy, Resource and Environment Business together with Mr. Thomas D. Hermiyanto as PTCF Director of Finance and Admin were invited as the keynote speaker in this event. Discussions were arisen during the talkshow triggered by the students’ questions related to IHI and PTCF boiler manufacturing business activities, the contribution to electricity development program, and also IHI and PTCF attention to community development in Indonesia.
