PT Cilegon Fabricators was established on March 1984 as a steel fabrication company that’s located in the industrial area, Bojonegara, Banten. Through this area, our company first started our business by providing services for steel structure fabrication.
With a dream of giving the best service to support the industry, we decided to increase our scope to package boiler fabrication at 1995. In the process of expanding our business, we also took our commitments to the next level by acquiring certifications for ISO and ASME.
IHI then started to invest at 1998 through the Logistic Division before deciding to acquire the majority of our shares at 2009.
IHI became our main shareholder at 2009 where we became a part of IHI strategy to capture South East Asia market. We then focus on supporting IHI for structure and boiler projects in the industry where we increased our credibility, capacity, and capability to supply market demands.
Once measures has been taken, we increased our ASME Stamp and ISO certification as a way to stay true to our commitments.
PT Cilegon Fabricators (PTCF) has been our identity ever since we first started. But as time progressed, we change our company name to PT IHI Power Service Indonesia (IPSI) with the intention to go forward as a company.
During the decision, the former name was considered to be unfit to represent our company as it may limit our reach. Our ambition to support worldwide projects and extending our scope has certainly made this decision a necessity to grow in the industry.
Through this change, we are ready to take another step in the fabrication industry by offering our business for fabrication and life cycle business.
